Toronto Maternity Photography | Sunset Park Session

I wanted to share some Toronto maternity photography from an outdoor session.  A beautiful park setting, perfectly warm weather and a stunning sunset was the perfect recipe for an exquisite maternity session.

I was first introduced to Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens, which is located in Toronto near Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, a few years ago when one of my pregnant clients requested to have her outdoor maternity photography session there.  I immediately fell in love with the gorgeous setting this park offers, with it’s beautiful flower gardens, romantic forest, and quaint stairs and stone structure.  I almost always recommend this location to my clients for their sunset Toronto Maternity photography sessions because of its beauty, location and plenty of convenient parking and close access to public transit.

I of course brought one of my maternity tutu dresses for her to wear to add a fun and modern touch to some of her images.

Her son was so sweet and he easily allowed me capture these beautiful images that I am certain they will treasure for years to come.

Daddy joined in for some memorable images as well.

Such a lovely family. I’m so grateful to have met and worked with them.

Outdoor maternity session in Toronto typically last approximately 90 minutes.  They are scheduled to begin 90 minutes before sunset, which means the start time varies depending on the season and the time the sun is expected to set.  This is important because this is the time of day when the light is most beautiful.
