This is one of my favourite poses for this age. 1 year portraits can be tricky since babies are pretty active, crawling and sometimes walking everywhere at this stage, but with some patience and a professional touch, beautiful images like these can be achieved!

I just love bum shots, especially at this age. This little one was a crawler and I just love this action shot!

Little Carson was such a happy baby boy throughout his entire session. That smile just melts my heart.

I am in love with my white vintage high chair for baby sessions these days. I have two other vintage baby high chairs that need a little TLC and will be ready to be used in the next few weeks.

I’ve also been loving this beautiful vintage baby sized rocking chair for my baby clients lately. The colour looks great with both by cream background, as well as this distressed wood wall in my studio.

This little guy had a lot in common with my two girls. He was born at Markham Stouffville Hospital, as were my girls. AND he was delivered by the same midwives as my girls, Durham Midwives!

He was such a happy baby and made my job super easy to capture these happy images!

Saved the BEST for last. My FAV from this session. Carson didn’t want to keep his hat on, but that’s not a problem. Caught him just as he was about to take it off to capture this perfect image 🙂
